The Theft Intervention Course is one-day intervention course designed to reduce the repeat offenses of issuance of worthless checks, shoplifting, or other theft offenses. T.I.C. is an educational program that may be required in the state of Texas by the court, a legal order, a legal representative, a probation officer, an employer, or other entity as a condition of probation or as a pre-trial diversion. Class participants are encouraged to examine where they are, how they got (t)here, and where they want and need to get to in life. T.I.C. provides meaningful content intended to meet court, legal, employer requirements or for personal growth. This class is a suitable referral resource for: theft, bad checks, shoplifting, burglary, credit card abuse, Unauthorized Usage of a Motor Vehicle (UUMV), etc.
NOTE: T.I.C.: an 8 hour, one-day class, held typically on the last Saturday of each month. Cost: $85.00. Pre-registration is required. Refunds are not provided within 72 hours of the scheduled class. If a student missed the scheduled class, s/he may re-register at the cost of $35.00.
